Columbus, OH — Walter L. Bickford, 88, died at his home on June 26, 2011. His longtime friend and partner in the horse business, Bob Wiley, was at his side.

Mr. Bickford was born September 5, 1922, in Nova Scotia. He had a long and prosperous career training, driving and breeding Standardbred horses in both Canada and the United States.

He is survived by a sister and several nieces and nephews.

His ashes will be sent to a family plot in Nova Scotia.
