Washington, PA — Winning at the races can be tough, but winning at the Halloween celebration of the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is easy. Just show up in costume Friday (Oct. 29) at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows and you’ll win a $5 voucher.

To claim your voucher, sign up at the MSOA booth before 5 p.m. — and you’ll also be eligible for the $500 Costume Contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Couple, Scariest, Most Original, Best Handmade and Most Creative.

There will be treats on the wagering front as well, as the live card features a mandatory payout in the Super Hi-5 (race 11) with its $63,306.09 carryover. Ordinarily, the Super Hi-5 jackpot is paid only if there is a unique correct ticket. But because of the mandatory payout, all holders of correct tickets will share the spoils.

Friday’s card kicks off at the special fall/winter post time of 4 p.m.
