Mississauga, ON — Racing fans and horsepeople from around the world will be able to watch the 2011 O’Brien winners receive their awards, live, without leaving home.

For the second consecutive year, Woodbine Entertainment Group is providing a live video stream of Canada’s national harness racing awards. You’ll be able to sit back and relax from the comfort of your favorite La-Z-Boy and watch all of the awards presentations shown on the live video stream from the O’Brien Awards Black Tie Gala on Saturday (Jan. 28) on www.standardbredcanada.ca.

Woodbine Entertainment has been a dedicated and longstanding industry partner for the O’Brien Awards, providing the video production and in-house broadcast for over 15 years. This year, WEG is again providing the technical resources to offer the opportunity for online viewing.

Last year, nearly 1,000 viewers tuned in to watch the O’Brien’s via the live video stream, some from as far away as Europe and Australia.

The video will go online, live, at approximately 9 p.m. (EST) on Saturday. The awards presentation generally lasts from 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
