Water Sports Teen tops Monday’s onGait Auctions

Boca Raton, FL – The Somebeachsomewhere sophomore Water Sports Teen p,3,1:51.1f ($63,580), who won for the fifth time this year on Saturday (June 19) night, brought a winning bid of $83,000 from Michigan’s Josh Graber to lead all auctions Monday (June 21) at onGait.com. Black Magic Racing, LLC of Ohio was the consignor.

On Saturday, Wixx Hanover 2,1:55.3f ($38,750) was purchased for $31,200 by Evan Katz of New York. The partnership of Roland Mallar, Patrick Leavitt and William Hartt consigned the three-year-old daughter of Donato Hanover.

Among the horses presently in the ring are Beachhead p,2,1:51.2 ($51,062), a Somebeachsomewhere half brother to both Sportswriter and the dam of Tall Dark Stranger; I Dunno p,3,1:58.2f-’21, a lightly raced Ontario bred; and Come Sail Away 3,Q1:59.2f-’21, a Ohio bredson of Triumphant Caviar.

Established in August of 2001, onGait.com comes off a record breaking year with over $15 million in sales of racehorses and breeding stock.
