Yonkers, NY — Arthur ‘Zeke’ Webb, whose 50-year career as caretaker extraordinaire is coming to end in a week or so, was honored Friday night (Dec. 6) by his Yonkers Raceway paddock cohorts.

Webb, who was profiled in the past few days, found himself summarily feted in a crowded (and cold) Raceway’s winner’s circle. Horsemen and racing officials stopped by to recognize ‘Zeke’ with a congratulatory sign and plaque.

“I’m very grateful to everyone who came out,” Webb said. “It means a lot to me.”
