Hazel Park, MI — Week 11 features a potential clash of the first and second place drivers in the Great Lakes Amateur Drivers Association point series.

Joe “Slim Jim” Cirasuola is reunited with LF Sharp Score, and they are the morning line favorite at 3-1. The series point leader Mike “The Mortgage Man” Mitchell is driving his own charge Lola’s Keeper, and is the second morning line choice at 4-1 starting from the rail. Third favorite is Mapley, who is starting from post seven and is driven by Mitchell “Sky” Walker. “Big” Bret Boyd is back in action this week with Playboy Prize from the inside. Third place driver in the standings, Stephen “You’re Never Too” Oldford will pilot his own charge Bristy Crinkley, who has the fastest time this year at 1:59.

The lone newcomer to this week’s field is Gerald “The Demolition Man” Malady, who will have an uphill battle in his GLADA debut from post nine.

Orrin “Twist and” Turner made his GLADA debut in Week 10 of the driving series a winning one aboard heavily favored Baked Azalea last Monday night. Starting from post four, Baked Azalea sat third until the half. The 10-year-old mare then made her move as she grinded away to win in 1:59.4. Lola’s Keeper, who was given a pocket ride by Mitchell, finished second while LF Sharp Score finished third for “The Millington Man,” Craig Sebert.

Mitchell’s second place finish in Week 10 gives him sole possession of first place once again over Cirasuola who had tied him the previous week. Cirasuola finished a disappointing seventh with his own charge EW Royal Pain. Oldford was able to pick up some ground in the point standings by finishing fourth with his charge Howmuchubench.
