Toronto, ON — Woodbine Entertainment Group and the Central Ontario Standardbred Association have extended the C$100,000 guarantee on the early Pick-4 pool, offered on Saturday’s Standardbred racing cards, until the end of the Woodbine meet.

The early Pick-4 pledge on Saturdays was raised earlier this month to C$100,000 through the end of April and that guarantee is now available until May 14.

Also, the C$50,000 guaranteed early Pick-4 will continue on Monday evenings, but the minimum pots on Thursdays and Fridays will be raised to C$50,000 as of Friday, April 22.

The early Pick-4 has provided players with good payoffs. On Saturday, April 2, the bet returned $578.80 for a $1 bet from a pool size of C$116,138 and on April 9, it paid $1,840 to bettors from a topped up pool of C$100,000 (C$90,615 was bet) and on April 16, from a pool of C$101,660, the Pick-4 paid $957.85.

On the Thoroughbred side, the early Pick-4 will now enjoy a C$50,000 guarantee every live racing afternoon, beginning this Friday, April 22. When Wednesday evening Thoroughbred cards are added on April 27, the early Pick-4 guarantee will be set at C$75,000.
