Common to all meetings is a discussion about current options being put forward by various groups to strengthen the policing of the sport. Assessing the need for and various proposed options for a centralized rule making entity or process is a major discussion point.

ARCI “Town Hall/Focus Group” meetings have already been held at: Santa Anita, Gulfstream, the Organization of Racing Investigators spring meeting, the Mid-Atlantic Group’s March regional meeting, Keeneland, Lone Star Park, Remington Park, Ocala, Arapahoe Park, Belmont Park, and the Meadowlands.

Input received at the meetings and through an online survey will be presented to major racing industry leaders as part of an attempt by the ARCI to unify the racing industry in a common path to ensure a strong and effective integrity effort for racing.

Later in July meetings will be held at Prairie Meadows and Horseman’s Park.
