Wiggle It Jiggleit captures qualifier; continues to lead Poll

Freehold, NJ — Three-year-old male pacer Wiggle It Jiggleit, who won a qualifier Tuesday by 14-1/2 lengths in 1:50.2 at Harrah’s Philadelphia as he prepares to return to action in next week’s Little Brown Jug, remained No. 1 in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.
Mission Brief, a 3-year-old female trotter, moved up to No. 2 in the rankings following her 15 length victory in her Elegantimage elimination last weekend while 3-year-old male trotter Pinkman jumped to third thanks to his triumph in his Canadian Trotting Classic elimination.
Older male pacer State Treasurer dropped from second to fourth after his third-place finish in the Jim Ewart Memorial.
The poll saw a tie for fifth, with Bee A Magician and Wakizashi Hanover deadlocked. Bee A Magician, an older female trotter, finished second by a neck to Natural Herbie in an elimination for the Maple Leaf Trot. Three-year-old male pacer Wakizashi Hanover won a division of the Liberty Bell Series.
L A Delight, a 2-year-old female pacer, joined the Top 10 at No. 10. She won the Champlain Stakes over the weekend and has won nine of 10 career starts.
