Wiggle It Jiggleit Headlines Hoosier Champions Night

Anderson, IN It will be a bitof a homecoming when harness racing’s latest superstar, Wiggle It Jiggleit,returns to his native state of Indiana at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino onSaturday, October 10. Wiggle It Jiggleit, the No. 1 ranked horse in harnessracing, will headline the list of entrants set to go postward during the14-race card on Saturday that features the $200,000 Indiana Sires Stakes SuperFinals.

Withpurses in excess of $1.6 million, the Indiana Sires Stakes Super Finals night willbe one of the richest nights offered in the history of the Indiana Sires Stakesprogram featuring eight $200,000 finals. The star-studded 14-race card willshowcase the best trotters and pacers in the state of Indiana and provide anexciting conclusion to the 2015 sire stakes season.


WiggleIt Jiggleit will be making his first start since capturing the 2015 edition ofthe Little Brown Jug in most impressive fashion. The 70th edition ofthe Little Brown Jug – the sport’s premier half-mile track event for 3-year-oldmale pacers, saw Wiggle It Jiggleit victorious in his elimination and then goon to deliver a 1:49.3 mile in the $324,960 second and final heat.


“IfI had to put that race into words, well, it made a grown man cry,” trainerClyde Francis noted of his Little Brown Jug Victory. “I really thought he wasbeat but to come back and do what he did, that was all heart and guts.”


WiggleIt Jiggleit has won 18 of 20 races this year and has amassed $1.79 million inseasonal earnings. The world-record holding son of Mr. Wiggles is owned andbred by George Teague Jr. His resume includes wins in the MeadowlandsPace, Hempt Memorial, Battle of the Brandywine, and Milstein Memorial. WiggleIt Jiggleit was also victorious in Indiana Sires Stakes action at Hoosier Parkearlier in the season.

“Nomatter what size track you put him on, he just does it,” Francis continued.“He’s versatile and no matter the circumstances he always goes out there andgives 110%. I’ve never seen a horse with as much heart and guts as him.”


Withregular driver Montrell Teague in the sulky, Wiggle It Jiggle will look tocontinue his winning ways in the thirteenth race on the program from postthree. Installed as the 2-5 morning line choice, Wiggle It Jiggleit will face afield of nine other 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings including IndianaSires Stakes champion, Freaky Feet Pete.


Startingfrom the trailing post position ten, Freaky Feet Pete has been tabbed themorning line second choice at odds of 5-2 for driver Trace Tetrick. Trained byLarry Rheinheimer, Freaky Feet Pete has been no worse than second in 12 startsthis season and won 19 of 22 lifetime outings.


Thefirst race will line-up behind the starting gate at 5:45 p.m. Along with thelive racing action, the evening will be complimented by giveaways, diningspecials and live entertainment at the conclusion of the live racing card.
