Fashion Chocolate won Wednesday’s Preferred Trot at The Meadows, one of seven wins for driver Mike Wilder.

A winner of more than 7,000 races in his career, Wilder collected two victories each for trainers Mark Goldberg and Tyler Stillings as well as singletons for conditioners Paul Corey, Jeff Hochstetler and Ray Simms.

In the Preferred Trot, Wilder hustled Fashion Chocolate to the pocket from post seven, then sent him after the leader, See The Wind, at the three-quarters. The 4-year-old Chocolatier-Fun And Strokes gelding wore down See The Wind and downed him by a neck in 1:54.1, with longshot Wilberforce third.

Trained by Hochstetler for owner Philip Hochstetler, Fashion Chocolate was unraced at 2 and 3 but has captured 15 of 32 starts this year and banked $124,386.
