Columbus, OH — William “Bill” G. Van Bramer, 85, of Endwell, N.Y., died at his home on April 30, 2011.

He was a retired IBM, Owego employee and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Van Bramer loved horses and was in the Standardbred business for many years as an owner. He was also an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vivian; children, George (Barbara) and Lisa (Timothy) Gawenus; and his grandchildren, William, Kevin and Jacob Gawenus.
