Wishing Stone to race Sunday in Paris

Wishing Stone, the 2010 Kentucky Futurity winner, will make his European debut this Sunday afternoon (Feb. 13) at Vincennes, Paris, France, in the Prix de France.

Wishing Stone will have the talented driver Mathieu Abrivard in the sulky and will start from the second tier behind the gate. A total of 13 trotters were entered in the race. The nine horses with the most earnings will race from the first tier.

The Prix de France, which is the first leg of the European Grand Circuit series, will be a rematch from the Prix d’Amerique for Ready Cash and Maharajah. The race has a purse of 400,000 Euros and will be contested at the distance of 1-5/16th miles.
