Wolfenden wins five at Harrington

Harrington, DE — Driver Ross Wolfenden kicked off Harrington Raceway’s opening night for the summer/fall meeting with a five win night on the 14 race program on Sunday (August 13).

Steve Warrington made a successful return to Harrington with a sixth race win with Pukpuk Power N.

Wolfenden, who finished the spring as the second leading driver behind Anthony Morgan, started the night with a win aboard heavy favorite Wynfield Bob ($3.00). He followed up with a win in the fourth race with Torben ($8.40) and in the seventh with Midriff ($4.00). Wolfenden then piloted Gustavo N ($10.40) and Art Carney ($22.20) to back-to-back wins in the 11th and 12th races.

Morgan also started the meet with a bang — registering four wins.

Driver Steve Warrington, who was injured at Harrington in an accident in May, made a successful return to Delaware racing with a win aboard Pukpuk Power N in the sixth race.

Racing will continue through October 26 on a Sunday thru Thursday schedule. Post time is 5:30 p.m.
