Toronto, ON — The holidays can be chaotic, but never fear — Woodbine Racetrack will continue to offer live harness racing during the festive season.

Woodbine will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, but racing resumes with a special matinee card on Boxing Day, December 26, starting at 1:20 p.m. The card will feature the second leg of the Valedictory Stakes for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings, rescheduled from having been snowed out on Friday, December 19.

Racing will follow its regular schedule on Saturday, December 27 and Monday, December 29, with the latter card featuring the final of the Niagara Series for 3-year-old pacing fillies.

Woodbine will be dark on Wednesday, December 31, but you can ring in the New Year on January 1 with another special matinee card of live racing beginning at 1:20 p.m.

Please note that no racing will be aired on HPI on December 24 or 25, but you can catch the Year In Review, which will be aired both days.

The Score will also be airing The Year In Review at selected times over the holidays. Fans can check out www.thescore.ca for more details on times.
