Harrisburg, PA — The United States Harness Writers Association has set the schedule of 2015 year-end awards announcements.

The six Dan Patch Award trotting winners in their age and gender divisions will lead off the announcements, with the exception of Trotter of the Year, at 12 noon (EST) Tuesday (Dec. 15). Pacers follow the next day, Wednesday (Dec. 16), also at 12 noon.

On Thursday (Dec. 17) at approximately 1 p.m. (EST) the announcement of Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year will be made via a live announcement from Monticello Raceway following the second race, on its simulcast, advance deposit wagering sites or replay at monticelloraceway.com/video-racing-results.

An e-mail announcement will immediately follow and it is expected that the Associated Press will also carry the news.

The following week, award announcements for people in harness racing will follow, with the Proximity Award, along with Owner, Driver and Trainer of the Year to be announced at 12 noon (EST) Monday (Dec. 21).

The next day, also at 12 noon, those selected for Rising Star, Breakthrough and Unsung Hero awards will be announced via e-mail.
