Yearling auction on Illinois Super Night

by Kendra Casselman

On Illinois Super Night (Sept. 14), Chicago High School Fro G. Science will be auctioning their yearling filly Chi Towne Aggie.

This is the first horse ever bred and raised at a United States High School.

Chi Towne Aggie will be at Balmoral on Sept. 7 during elimination night where fans and horsemen will be able to see her. She will be in the grandstand stall during the early races.

On Super Night she will be auctioned off after the third race.

Chi Towne Aggie (Ideal Towne-Vega) will be prepped by the students in the Animal Science Pathway under the direction of Pathway Leader Mrs. Maggie Kendall.

The yearling won the Blue Ribbon in the halter class at the Kankakee County Fair in August.
