Yonkers, NY — The statebreds return to Westchester on Tuesday night (August 19) when Yonkers Raceway hosts the $195,009 Clyde Hirt Pace for frosh fillies.

Post time for the dozen-race card is 7:40 p.m., with the quartet of NYSS events going as races four (purse $48,527), five ($48,527), six ($49,427) and eight ($48,527).

The most intriguing grouping is by far the second, where sire stakes standouts B Intensified (Jim Morrill, Jr., post four), Perfect Launch (Yannick Gingras, post five) and Stolly Up Bluechip (Stephane Bouchard, post six) collide.

B Intensified and Perfect Launch have each won their last three (NYSS) races (Monticello, Vernon and Tioga) and have each earned more than $45,000 this summer. The former is a daughter of Art Major trained by Carmine Fusco for co-owners Carmen Iannacone, D’Elegance Stable IX and L P Stable. The latter is a daughter of Riverboat King trained by Linda Toscano for owner Ken Jacobs.

“Stolly” is an Art Major miss who began her career with four wins in succession before making an early break in her most recent try. Mark Ford trains for owner Frank Dettore.

Yonkers’ six-night-per-week live harness schedule (Monday through Friday — all at 7:40 p.m. — and Saturday — 6:50 p.m.) is in effect through October. Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting available around the NYRA schedule.
