Yonkers, NY — Yonkers Raceway’s Monday Pick-5 wager attracted a fair amount of attention.

Beginning with a worthwhile carryover of $5,249.99 (since no one took down the Saturday night pool), the gimmick drew in $22,905.24 of fresh money. After takeout, that left $22,428.92 to be divided anew.

The winning combination of 5-1-4-7-4 returned $801 for every winning 50-cent ticket.
