Yonkers, NY — For the person who deciphered Yonkers Raceway’s Leap Night Pick-5 combination, the result was a very good get.

With $11,897 wagered into Monday’s (Feb. 29) $10,000 guaranteed pool, one lad (or lass) took down the entire gimmick ($8,923.75 after takeout for that 50-cent ticket).

The magic numbers, with their respective win mutuels:

7th race – (1) I Am the Cowboy ($5.90)
8th race – (3) Lawgiver Hanover ($12.60)
9th race – (5) Rock My World ($23.60)
10th race – (1) OK Gorgeous ($11.40)
11th race – (3) Fiery Lustre N ($14.40)

With nary a favorite among the quintet, the result was the highest Pick-5 payout of the season.
