Yonkers, NY — The lure of a $10,000 guaranteed pool was offset by some confounding results.

As a result — and after the final leg winner paid $78.50 — no one took down Yonkers Raceway’s Pick-5 Tuesday night. This provides a fair amount of free money going into Thursday’s quintet.

A total of $7,498.64 is to be added to the pot for the base 50 cent Pick-5, which encompasses races five through nine every racing night. The wager has no consolation payoff. Hence, the sizable stipend going into Thursday.
