Young horses with potential top Blooded Horse Summer Sale

Delaware, OH — The 2-year-old trotting filly Evening Escort topped the Blooded Horse Sale at $16,500. From the estate of Jack Tramonte, the daughter of Andover Hall was purchased by Lynn Wilfong of Indiana.

Doc’s Bonanza, a handsome 3-year-old conditioned pacer at the Meadows went to Tommy Dawson of West Virginia on a $15,500 bid. The 3,1:55.2f son of The Panderosa was consigned by Two Docs Farm.

Another nice conditioned pacer, Trick The Yankee, brought $15,000 from Britney Dillon. Consigned by Stan Whittemore, the Yankee Cruiser son was racing well in the upper classes in Maine.

The maiden Conway Hall trotting filly Judith brought $14,000 from Gus Scarpias who will continue to race her in New York. Another 3-year-old maiden, Hurricane King, went to Darlene Anderson of Canada on a $12,500 bid.

Martinez Equine purchased Shark Fight, the top yearling in the sale, for $14,000. The beautiful colt from the first crop of Shark Gesture was consigned by Spring Haven Farm.

Bidding was spirited for Jesse’s Majesty, a nice Jailhouse Jesse filly consigned by Buckeye Acres. Jim Pollack finally got the nod and led the yearling trotter to his barn there on the grounds.

Indiana breeder Jeff Fought was pleased to get the exceptionally nice trotting mare Sibyl Score for $11,000. The 14-year-old dam of Full Count 4,1:55.4f is in foal to Jailhouse Jesse.

The big Blooded Horse Fall Sale is November 15–18.
