Zabielski triples at Saratoga

Saratoga Springs, NY — Lisa Zabielski met three of her trainees in the winner’s circle on Sunday (July 30) evening at Saratoga Casino Hotel with Get Along posting the top performance of the trio.

Get Along and Jim Devaux made every pole a winning one as they clicked off fractions in :28, :57.3, and 1:25.4. Using a last quarter in :28.1, Get Along won by 2-3/4 lengths in 1:54. Thisishowwedoit (Brett Beckwith) finished second and Father Ofthe Year (Shawn Gray) was third.

Jeffrey Epstein owns the 5-year-old gelded son of Betting Line as he won his third race this season and 12th career. Get Along paid $3.60 to win.

Zabielski trainees Dancethebigdance N and Meadowbrook Jenny were also driven by Devaux and went wire-to-wire trips to win by four lengths in 1:55.1 and 1-1/4 lengths in 1:56.4, respectively. Dancethebigdance N paid $9.70 to win and Meadowbrook Jenny paid $3.80 for her win ticket.

Devaux capped off the card with a 1:56.2 win with Todd Dubois trainee J-S Perfect Cache to round off four wins on the evening.

In the $17,000 Fillies and Mares Winners Over/Open Handicap Pace, Jordan Derue rode the pocket trip with his trainee Always Watching to victory. Following behind La Bella Vita N (Shawn Gray) through panels in :28.1, :58, and 1:26.2, Always Watching won by a neck at the wire in 1:54.1. La Bella Vita N took second and So Diva (Chris Long) rounded out the top three.

Jordan Derue owns the 5-year-old He’s Watching mare who posted her fourth seasonal win and 20th lifetime. Always Watching paid $14.80 to win.

Racing continues at Saratoga Casino Hotel on a Friday through Sunday schedule with a first post time of 6:45 p.m. each night.
