from Blue Chip Farms
Wallkill, NY — As the industry continues to search for ways to address the foal crop crisis, Blue Chip Farms has decided to do their part to further increase the opportunity for yearling buyers by offering a $100,000 incentive to winners of the already enhanced $600,000 2016 Breeders Crown 2-year-old races.
The Blue Chip Breeders Crown $100K Challenge is as beautiful as it is simple. Buy a Blue Chip bred and owned yearling in one of the 2015 yearling sales; win one of the four 2-year-old 2016 Breeders Crown races at the Meadowlands and get a $100,000 Blue Chip yearling credit.
“I fully believe that every one of the 50-plus yearlings we are bringing to this year’s three sales has every chance to win another 2-year-old Breeders Crown for Blue Chip bred,” said Blue Chip Farms Principal Tom Grossman. “Nothing would make me happier than to give a $100,000 yearling credit to the owners that take one of our yearlings to the Breeders Crown winner’s circle in 2016 and see that money reinvested into the yearling market.”
