Dover, DE — The Matron series for 2-year-olds returns to Dover Downs on Thursday (Nov. 5).

The 2-year-old trotting colts compete in the first race. The purse is $167,200. Incommunicado carries a three-race win streak for trainer Ake Svanstedt and ships in from Plainridge Raceway.

The 2-year-old filly trotters are in the sixth race. The purse is $189,800. Trainers Julie Miller (Pub Crawl) and Nancy Takter (Material Girl) share the spotlight.

In the eighth race, 2-year-old pacing fillies vie for a purse of $170,700. The Ron Burke stable sends out three in Continualou, Uptown Hanover and Paulas Bet Hanover. Trainer Tom Fanning also starts three fillies, Doubleoffthewall, Mackie Hanover and Summer Rae.

The 12th race is for 2-year-old pacing colts and offers a purse of $193,000. Southwind Gendry, who finished third in the Breeders Crown, has bankrolled $486,569 for trainer Ron Burke.
