Sandwich, IL — The Northern Illinois Colt Association and DeKalb County Fair in Sandwich, Ill., will be sponsoring memorial races for the late Illinois horsemen Mark Fransen and Tim Curtin.

Harness races will be held Wednesday (Sept. 4) with post time at 11 a.m.

Mr. Fransen was born in Troy Grove, Ill. and Mr. Curtin was born and raised in Ottawa, Ill.

Mr. Fransen died March 6 and Mr. Curtin June 11.

They both competed on the N.I.C.A. circuit for many years.
