Marlborough, MA — State Rep. Richard J. Ross hopes to follow in the footsteps of U.S. Senator Scott Brown.

Ross is running for Brown’s Massachusetts state senate seat and his campaign will receive a boost Saturday (Feb. 13) when Plainridge Racecourse hosts a fundraiser at the track which starts at 12 noon.

Plainridge COO Gary Piontkowski describes Ross as a true friend and supporter of the track’s endeavor for gaming rights.

The Massachusetts legislator has much in common with Senator Brown. He also hails from Wrentham, Mass., and drives a truck.

Light refreshments will be served and donations can be made to the Committee to elect Richard Ross State Senate.
