Racing official Mike Hall injured in motorcycle accident

Columbus, OH — Mike Hall, veteran racing official and contributor to Hoof Beats’ “Ask the Judge” column, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening (June 19) after presiding over the races at Harrah’s Philadelphia.

He suffered multiple injuries and, as of Friday morning, is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit of Christiana Hospital in Newark, Del.

According to his colleague Bob Corey, also a Pennsylvania racing official, Hall was injured when he was struck broadside by an automobile.
