Rep. Richard Ross campaigned at Plainridge Racecourse.

An enthusiastic crowd, along with his daughter Chandler, Campaign Manager Donna Donnellan and other helping hands, came to hear Rep. Ross convey his message.

By going after this office, he is devoting his full efforts and energy to win out on the special election to give himself a shot at the Senate seat, when the election comes up in November.

The very big plus is that he has the “full backing” of Senator Scott Brown, who would have loved to have been there at Plainridge, but do to the unimaginable snowfall that Washington received this past week, he was unable to make the trip north.

Rep. Ross stated that we need to make more jobs available and businesses really need a helping hand so that the taxes that we all are paying are actually going to help people and businesses and not hurt them. With more people out of the unemployment lines and actively working, we will be heading in the right direction and the income that is resulted from that will help infuse more cash into the state’s treasury, which it needs so badly.

He is on the Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies and like the Speaker of the House and many others is an advocate for video slots/casino legislation, which will certainly help the economy out, even if there are some that disagree.
