Single point separates top two horses in Poll

Freehold, NJ — And then there was one.
As in one point separating filly trotter Bee A Magician from colt pacer Captaintreacherous at the top of this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.
Both horses won their respective eliminations for the Breeders Crown finals Saturday at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Bee A Magician cruised to her 14th win without a defeat in her elim while Captaintreacherous raced first over to win his division.
Captaintreacherous gained two first-place votes for the third consecutive week.
Little else changed in the Top 10, except for A Rocknroll Dance dropping from the group and Foiled Again, who won the elimination for the Breeders Crown Open Pace, joining the rankings.
