Manalapan, NJ — TrotPAC, the political action committee of New Jersey’s Standardbred racing industry, will air 35 radio commercials during the week of May 10 on WCBS Newsradio, 880 AM.

On Monday through Friday, 60-second spots will air from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the commercials will run from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WCBS Radio reaches the New York City metropolitan area. Since April 26, TrotPAC has been running commercials on the Millennium Radio Network of 11 New Jersey stations in Central and Southern New Jersey, including 101.5 FM.

The commercials spotlight the message that New Jerseyans need tax relief, and a Meadowlands racino — slots or video lottery terminals at the racetrack — could contribute $1 billion a year to close Trenton’s budget gap as well as fuel the revival of the racing and breeding industry in New Jersey.
