The USTA Driving School is great for people of all ages and experience levels.

Between barn work in the mornings and classroom sessions in the afternoon with guest speakers that are the best in the industry, students will learn the ins and outs of training, caring for and racing Standardbred race horses. Even if you have never set foot in a barn before, the school is great for people of all ages and experience levels, however students must be at least 16 years of age to attend.

The registration fee for the 2015 USTA Standardbred Driving School is $350 and includes most meals. Students are responsible for transportation to and during the school, as well as lodging expenses. Students who have attended the school in past years are welcome to attend again and will be given the opportunity to head to the racetrack in the evenings with some of the instructors.
