Anderson, IN — With a carryover in excess of $5,000, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced a $15,000 guaranteed Pick-5 pool for Wednesday (Oct. 14).

In partnership with the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program and the Indiana Standardbred Association, Hoosier Park will offer this signature wager for the 13-race card on Wednesday that is set to begin at 5:45 p.m.

Two longshot winners in Tuesday’s Pick-5 sequence at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino sparked a carryover of $5,531.13 and will kick-start the Pick-5 pool for Wednesday.

The Pick-5, which offers a 50-cent minimum wager, will begin in the ninth race of the evening and continue through the 13th race of the program. Approximate post time for the first leg of the wager, the ninth race, is 8:25 p.m. (EDT).

Wednesday’s 13-race card will be highlighted by two $25,000 divisions of Indiana Sires Stakes eligible races for the 3-year-old filly trotters and 2-year-old colt trotters. Three divisions of the City of Anderson Pacing Series for fillies and mares will also compliment the evening’s racing action.

Live racing at Hoosier Park will follow a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, with a new, daily post time of 5:45 p.m. The 160-day, all harness racing meet will be conducted through Nov. 14.
