Goshen, NY – The ninth Annual Goshen Yearling Sale will be held at the Mark Ford Training Center on Monday, Sept. 9, starting at noon.
A total of 96 yearlings will be for sale and features 60 yearlings eligible to the rich New York Sire Stakes program, as well as yearlings eligible to the New Jersey, Pennsylvania Sire stakes and Ontario.
New York’s leading sires are represented at Goshen. Huntsville is the nation’s leading money winning 2-year-old sire, has 13 offspring in the sale, six colts and seven fillies. Huntsville’s 2 & 3-year-olds have already earned over $5,000,000 in 2024, prior to the sire stake finals being held this weekend at Yonkers Raceway.
Chapter Seven, the leading money winning 2-and 3-year-old sire, is selling a colt out of a sister to Six Pack, and it is her first Chapter Seven. Chapter Seven’s 2- and 3-year olds have already earned over$ 5.7 million in 2024
The New York stallions – American Ideal, Courtly Choice, Credit Winner, Devious Man, El Titan, Met’s Hall, Roll With Joe, So Surreal, In The Arsenal and The Veteran, will also have yearlings being offered for sale.
Those interested in a Pennsylvania-bred can purchase yearlings by the leading money-winning pacing sire from 2023 – Sweet Lou, who’s 3-year-old offspring earned over $6.8 million in 2023.
Papi Rob Hanover, the leading first crop sire in 2024, is also selling a filly who is a sister to world champion Kiss Me Onthebeach 3, 1:48.3, the highly anticipated first crop of Captain Corey has arrived and we will be selling two fillies from the great Housethatruthbuilt family. A Bar Hopping filly that hails from the family of world champion Keystone Sister is another top prospect
New Jersey breds include colts and fillies by the exciting first crop sire Perfect Sting, who was the Dan Patch Pacing Colt of the Year in 2020 and 2021, retiring with earnings in excess of $1.7 million.
