Lebanon, OH — Miami Valley Raceway will open for its seventh season of live harness racing next Friday night (Jan. 3), and a pre-meet day of qualifying races will be held on Monday (Dec. 30) beginning at 12 noon.

The entry box for the qualifiers will close this Saturday (Dec. 28) at 4 p.m. and the fields will be posted on the USTA website by 7 p.m. Trainers are encouraged to enter the qualifiers online if possible, or entries can be called in to the Miami Valley race office (513.934.7792) from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon only.

A double draw for the Friday (Jan. 3) and Saturday (Jan. 4) opening weekend programs will take place following the Monday (Dec. 30) qualifying session. The entry box for the initial two programs of the 2020 season will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 30 due to New Year’s holiday printing deadlines.
