Pick 6 carryover, guaranteed pool continue to swell at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY — One ticket was alive to Odds On Delray in Friday night’s (Aug. 6) final leg of the Pick 6 at Yonkers Raceway, but when leader Awesomeness dug in through the lane and held him off, it meant that a winner in the wager remained elusive once again. As a result, there will be a $28,188.06 carryover and a $75,000 guaranteed pool when racing resumes at Yonkers on Monday (Aug. 9).

The guarantee is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick 6, courtesy of TrackMaster, are available here. Yonkers Raceway’s Pick 6 has a takeout rate of 20 percent, as do the track’s nightly Pick 4 and Pick 5 wagers.

Monday night’s 12-race card at Yonkers gets underway at 7:15 p.m., with the Pick 6 beginning in race three. Included in the Pick 6 sequence will be one $153,900 New York Sire Stakes event for 3-year-old trotting fillies (race six) and the $45,000 Open Handicap Pace (race seven).
