Nichols, NY – Ridge Warren had a driving grand slam including a win with Arnie’s Angel in the featured $11,000 Fillies & Mares Open II Pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (June 2).

Miley Rose (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) led to the quarter in :27.0. She used a :28.2 second quarter to be first to the half in :55.2. She continued to lead to three-quarters in 1:23.1.

As they made the turn for home Lets Ryde Girl (Aaron Byron) popped the pocket as Arnie’s Angel ($8.30) came flying three-wide. Arnie’s Angel blew right on by to win in 1:52.1. Miley Rose held on for second. Lets Ryde Girl finished third.

Arnie’s Angel is a 7-year-old mare by Big Jim. She is trained by Randy Taft for owners Mali Norbye and Arnold Witkin. It was her third win this season and her 22nd career victory.

Warren’s other wins came with Tigers Watching N, Bolt Of Beauty, and Feverslastcruise (dead heat with Winter Gram).
