Cruise Alert and McSeaside will battle head-to-head in Ohio Sires Stakes action

Grove City, OH – On Saturday night (June 24) at Northfield Park there will be two divisions of Ohio Sires Stakes for 3-year-old filly pacers with $110,000 on the line for each division going for $55,000.

Two of the previous leg winners, Cruise Alert and McSeaside will be in competing head-to-head in the second division of the Ohio Sires Stakes for 3-year-old filly pacers.

While there are seven horses to round out the field, Cruise Alert starts from post two. Driver Aaron Merriman has the assignment for trainer Jeff Nisonger. The daughter of Yankee Cruiser has hit the board six times out of seven starts with four wins and two seconds earning $78,900 so far this season for the ownership duo of Nisonger Stable LLC and Our Three Sons Stable LLC. Cruiser Alert is 4-1 in the morning line.

McSeaside starts from post six and will have Chris Page piloting for trainer Ron Burke. The Downbytheseaside filly out of 6 starts has hit the board three times. She has bankrolled $62,500 so far this season. Making her last performance during the Ohio Sires Stakes a memorable one as she lowered the track record at Eldroado Scioto Downs for 3-year-old filly pacers to 1:49.4.  She currently sits at 5-2 in the morning line.
