Despite his third straight starting slot from an outside post (seven), the 7-year-old Muscle Massive gelding marched to the lead quickly after the gates sprung open and held off a flurry of rivals in a blanket finish for his sixth win of the year. Remarkable De Vie was second with Embrace The Grind third.

Driver Pat Berry had four wins on the card, while trainer Chuck Crissman had three. Driver Cody Poliseno teamed up with his father, trainer Carlo Poliseno, for a double. Ross Wolfenden and Allan Davis each also had driving doubles.
