Nichols, NY — Sweet Tactics (Tyler Miller) took the $10,000 featured trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (July 29).

Tantalize Bluechip (Mike Merton) went to the front and led through splits of :27.2, :56.2 and 1:25.1. Turning for home, though, Sweet Tactics ($12.60) made her move and came flying down the stretch. Tantalize Bluechip dug in but Sweet Tactics kept coming and went on by to win in a lifetime best of 1:56.3.

Tantalize Bluechip had to settle for second; Flyhawk El Fuerte (Aaron Byron) finished third.

Sweet Tactics is a 3-year-old filly by Tactical Landing owned by Ecurie Jean-Pierre and trained by Julie Miller. She has four lifetime wins, all this season.

Jim Taggart Jr. and Mike Merton had driving doubles on the card.
