Scioto Downs announce race date changes

Columbus, OH — With the end of the live race meet drawing near, Eldorado Scioto Downs wants to remind horsemen and fans of the schedule change for the last three weeks.

The majority of the Scioto meet consists of a five day a week race schedule (Tuesday-Saturday). For these last three weeks, the race week goes down to four days a week, dropping Wednesdays.

For the week of September 3, there will be a special Labor Day race card starting at 5:50 p.m. on Monday, September 4. Qualifiers will be held before the races at 3:50 p.m. There will be no Tuesday racing that week.

Ohio Super Night will be on Saturday (September 9), with a special 5:00 p.m. post to accommodate all the Ohio Sires Stakes Scarlet & Gray Championship races and Grand Circuit events, the Charlie Hill Memorial Trot and Jim Ewart Memorial Pace. For those that cannot make it live, the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association “Saturday Night at the Races” team will be on site and streaming on Facebook. There will also be special coverage of the evening’s races from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on FOX Sports.
