Milton, ON — A trio of Simcoe Stakes divisions for 3-year-old pacers were part of Saturday’s stakes-filled lineup at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The Simcoe Stakes for 3-year-old pacing fillies required two divisions, while the open category needed just one division.

Sylvia Hanover returned to her winning ways with a 1:51.2 victory in the C$79,600 first Simcoe Stakes division.

MacDonald stars in Champlain divisions

James MacDonald took advantage of a loaded lineup to win three of Saturday’s four Champlain Stakes divisions at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

A total of four Champlain divisions, two for filly pacers and two for male pacers, were contested.
