Middlebury, IN — The ninth annual Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale is now complete. The sale, held Tuesday (Oct. 10) at the Champions Center Expo in Springfield, Ohio, featured a catalog of 236 yearlings.

A total of 227 babies were sold, grossing $2.69 million and averaging $11,872, a more than six percent increase over 2022.

Uncle Peter filly Rose Run Ashton (Hip 29) and Long Tom filly Little Miss Jo (Hip 225) topped the sale, each fetching $50,000 final bids.
