Bally’s Dover to open its 54th live harness racing season

Dover, DE — Bally’s Dover kicks off its 54th live harness racing season Monday (Oct. 30).

The 83-day meet will race through March 28, 2024.

Live racing takes place Monday through Thursday with a first race post at 4:30 p.m.

Last year’s top drivers and trainers will return to Bally’s Dover this racing season. Tony Morgan was the leading driver with 149 wins. Art Stafford Jr. drove 127 winners. Corey Callahan tallied 111 driving wins.

Last year’s leading trainer Joe Columbo finished the meet with 71 wins and looks to defend his title. Crissy Crissman-Bier recorded 61 training wins and will also be returning to battle it out this racing season.

The Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund (DSBF) races return to Bally’s Dover.

2-year-olds — Nov. 2-Nov. 15 (eliminations)
2-year-olds — Nov. 16-Nov. 22 (finals)
3-year-olds — Nov. 27-Dec. 7 (eliminations)
3-year-olds — Dec. 11-Dec. 14 (finals)
