The 4-year-old German-bred trotter Gericault, with Christophe Martens in the bike, is so far the fastest winner in the prestigious Winter meeting at Vincennes.

Thursday afternoon Gericault won the Quinte+ race over 1-5/16th miles easily in 1:52.4 (mile rate); until Gericault won, the French trotter Face Time was fastest, trotting in 1:53.2 (mile rate).

Gericault is sired by Muscle Hill and out of the French mare Reverie d’Ar. She has earlier brought the French trotter Dreamer Delo (sired by Ready Cash) who has a mark of 1:58.4 (mile rate) and earnings of 237,750 Euro.

Gericault has only raced 16 times and has five wins and earnings of 195,051 Euro.

After Gericault, Reverie d’Ar brought a colt in 2021, Lord Delo, who is French registered, sired by Face Time Bourbon.
