Credit Con was ahead by 2-1/2 lengths turning for home but then faced the looming Emerald’s Legacy and Tequila Talkin, both circling from the back of the pack. Brady Brown kept the Yonkers invader to his task, and he downed Emerald’s Legacy by three-quarters of a length in 1:54.1 over a “good” surface. Tequila Talkin finished third.

Jennifer Bongiorno trains the 6-year-old Credit Winner-Jesse’s Con gelding, who now boasts a career bankroll of $472,186, for Ben Mondello.

Ronnie Wrenn Jr. collected four victories, two of them for trainer Michael Burke, while Dave Palone piloted three winners on the 13-race card, including a pair for trainer Johnny Yoder.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday when the program features a $1,004.62 carryover in the Pick-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
