Nichols, NY — Frondeur (Ridge Warren) captured the $10,000 distaff pacing feature at Tioga Downs on Friday (May 11).

No Cigar Tony (Mike Merton) went right to the front as Fronduer ($7.50) followed right in the pocket through fractions of :26.4, :56 and 1:24.2. As they made the turn for home Frondeur popped the pocket and wore down No Cigar Tony to win in 1:54.4. Prairie Magical (Jim Taggart Jr.) was third.

Frondeur is a 4-year-old mare by A Rocknroll Dance owned by Shim Racing and trained by Erv Miller. It was her second win this season; she now has six career victories.

Ridge Warren and Tyler Miller had driving doubles.
