Dewey Arnold (Tyler Miller) was first to the quarter in :27.1.  He used a :29.2 second quarter and led to the half in :56.3.  He was just coasting down the backstretch and led to three-quarters in 1:25.

Emma Town Bud ($18.40) popped the pocket and battled Dewey Arnold all the way down the stretch.  Emma Town Bud got by just before the wire in a seasonal best of 1:54.2.  Dewey Arnold had to settle for second.  Ima Diamond Babe (Braxten Boyd) finished third.

Emma Town Bud is a 7-year-old gelding by Big Stick Lindy.  He is owned by Nicole Bovay and trained by Pierre Bovay.  It was his seventh win this season.  He now has 19 career victories.
