New world record in under saddle race

The 7-year-old French mare Hanna des Molles with Alexandre Abrivard in the saddle won the Prix Paul Delanoe at Vincennes over 1-1/4 miles Tuesday night (June 4) in 1:52 (mile rate). That’s a new world record.

The old record was held by another French trotter, Be Mine de Houelle, who in 2018 won the Monté Elite at Solvalla in 1:52.2f over the mile.

Hanna des Molles (sired by Village Mystic) is trained by Laurent Abrivard and has lifetime earnings of 944,620 Euro. In 2022 she won the world’s richest under saddle race, the Prix de Cornulier.
