Pick-5 carryover and guaranteed pool on Saturday night at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY — There were no winning tickets in the Pick-5 sequence on Friday night (June 7) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, leading to a $4,507.82 carryover and a $15,000 guaranteed pool in the wager on Saturday night’s (June 8) program.

The guarantee in the Pick-5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick-5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available here. The Pick-5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.

Friday’s feature was the $39,000 Fillies & Mares Invitational Pace, and Dougs Babe A (Austin Siegelman) led through fractions of :26.3, :55, and 1:23.2, then held on through the lane to win by a nose over pocket-sitter Coachellabound N (Jason Bartlett). Golden Quest N (George Brennan) collected third.

A 7-year-old daughter of Western Terror, Dougs Babe A is trained by Nifty Norman for owners Tom Vassiliou, Nicholas Tallarico and Enzed Racing Stable Inc. This was her 21st career win, she has now earned $431,964 and she paid $9.90 to win as a 7-2 offering. The exacta was worth $39.80 and the trifecta kicked back $93.00.

MGM Yonkers Raceway is currently operating on a Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday live racing schedule with post time at 7 p.m. (EDT).
